The HDX Application/System connects all players in the Healthcare System and allows them to share vital/core information for the provision of quality health care services and proper management of health care resources. This will result in increased profitability for both the Healthcare providers (HCPs) and Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs). HDX provides the mechanism to enable the electronic communication of core business messages / transactions, initially between NHIS, HMOs and HCPs but potentially ‘any to any’. It can be used via a PC with only a web browser and Internet connection, or it can be integrated into hospital, HMO and other third party systems.
